Project 5 Pan

Hey everyone! Here is a video I uploaded recently, but forgot to share it here. I have started a project 5 pan. Basically you pick 5 makeup/beauty products that you decide to use up before purchasing any new makeup. I officially started on Monday & I've been very good so far. I have bought a few nail polishes, but I mention in the video that those don't count! So far it's going well & I'm not bored with any of my products! I'll be sure to update you as I go & let you know when I finish! If you want to start your own Project Pan, let me know!

NOTD - Essie Navigate Her

Happy Spring! I'm so glad that it is officially Spring. My weather has been awesome lately & I hope it stays that way! Today's color is Navigate Her by Essie, from the new Spring collection called, you guessed it, Navigate Her! This is the perfect spring green. One of the hot colors this season is pistachio and this fits the bill. I originally wasn't going to get this color, but I caved! It's not hard to talk myself into buying nail polish :)

What are some of your favorite Spring nail polishes? Thanks for reading!

New Channel

Good morning everyone! I hope you have had a great week. Any fun plans for the weekend? I will be starting off my Saturday morning with a 6 mile run..... The joys of 10K training! Then we are heading to a first birthday party for our friend's daughter. And I'm hoping to end the evening drinking a beer & watching VCU beat Indiana!

I wanted to let you all know that I have created a new channel on YouTube for all my beauty videos. I've been thinking of doing this for a while & finally did it! So you can check it out here. This is where all my makeup, nail polish & beauty related videos will be from now on. I'm excited to have a "new" start & feel really excited about making videos. And the great thing is that my YouTube name & Twitter name are now the same, so that will make things easier!

Thanks & enjoy your weekend!

L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadows

Hey guys! Today I want to show you my L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadows.

The three colors I have are Iced Latte, Bronzed Taupe & Eternal Black

Each shadow comes with a little disc that you are supposed to keep in the pot.

Iced Latte

Bronzed Taupe

Eternal Black

The texture of these shadows is really interesting. It's like a cross between a cream & powder. I have found that it is best to use your fingers when applying this shadow, a brush does not give the same color payoff. They are very soft so you have to be careful not to press too hard. As you can see I have pretty neutral shades. The black is so gorgeous, I love the silver sparkle throughout it. I've worn this a few times & my husband always compliments me! It is so pretty for a night out! There are other shades in the collection, a green, a couple blues, brown & a golden one that I kind of want :) Most of the shades are very shimmery, but there are a couple matte ones as well. Overall I like these shadows, my favorite is definitely Eternal Black!

Have you guys tried these? What do you think?

NOTD - Pink Lemonade!

Good morning everyone! Today I have a spring-like manicure. It reminds me of pink lemonade! I am wearing Sally Hansen Heart of Stone & Finger Paints Lemon Sour, which is from their new spring collection, Gum Drops & Lollipops. I just thought these colors looked pretty together. The yellow is nice & soft, not too bright. And seriously, every time I look at my nails I think of pink lemonade!

February Favorites!

Hi everyone! Watch to see my favorite products for the month of February. And check out the products that I used up. I get satisfaction from using a product completely & being able to throw it away! What about you? What are your favorites this month?

Thanks for watching!

NOTD

Last night I went out for my mani/pedi. It was so nice to relax, have someone rub my feet & get to read my book! I mentioned the other day that this particular salon had Zoya nail polish. But when I got there I saw they had the new OPI collection. I decided to try a couple of those colors to see how I liked them & if I should buy them. On my toes (which I'm not showing!) I got Red Lights Ahead...Where? It is a bright orange-y red. On my fingers I got Pedal Faster Suzi. It is a light pink with silver shimmer. I like the color but it is very sheer. The lady did two coast on my nails, but if I were doing it at home I would do three coats. You can see my nail line and it looks like I have tip wear. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet. I was debating whether or not to buy this polish, but I don't think I will. But I'm glad I got to try them out. And it was nice getting my nails done. The lady was really nice & I would go back there again.
